Like the other guys said........tilt it in the down position.
After it seems like all the water has drained, just turn it over once.
This will release any water that might be trapped on the impeller.
We are off to Quinte on Nov18 and will go thru this process.

This can be the best fishing of the year, so welcome to the cool water!
Is your engine an outboard or I/O?

To avoid the icey ramps problems the ferry launch is the first one to try. With the grates it works fairly well.
We launch in Picton but it is one of the first to ice up.
Looking forward to the pic's of your homemade telltale flags.

I have sever arthritis in my shoulders. "Ultimate Glucosomine" has done wonders for my pain and mobility.
It is a once a day powder which helps us old guys with a bad memmory.

As the subject says......Looking for opinions.
I am about to purchase a new finder.
Do those of you who have Humminbird SI units do you feel that you got your moneys worth out of them? The cost is alittle over $300 dollars and could be used on other tackle if it's not worth it.
Also how does the Down Scanning feature work for marking fish?
Thanks for your time and like always,

I have found with my 1 piece that it is too warm.
I walk out on the ice and my 1pc gets me a sweating.
Sweating and icefishing don't go together!
I think I will try to buy one of these and put the rest of the
money into a better set of pants.

We have the name on the side of the cruiser.
27ft. with 3 guys onboard. We will likely put in Picton and head out right away.
The clock is ticking.......but it seems slow.
