I've got zero complaints about the old Legend tiller we had, that thing was built like a brick **** house though. Definitely nothing like the Legends of today.

I believe the City of Toronto sets the rules for Grenadier Pond, not the MNR. Will be interesting in the reply you get from the MNR.

I don't think that fish is close to 30 inches lol

Good call on Gord, I'm sure he'd be happy to help. Shoot him a message on Facebook.

Definitely not when it comes to rod building. This is when you let the pros do their thing. Awesome work as always!

RE: Charging when offgrid. Get a small generator like a Yamaha or Honda and hook it up to the onboard charger and run it at night. Solar isn't going to make a dent, and usually you want to charge at night.

Muskie habitat in the 'Geen is the exact opposite of where you'd fish steelhead. Dead slow frog water, find a big tree in the water, good bet you'll find a muskie. Bass are prolific.

Jerk baits for pike would be the ticket. They aren't very picky. Slip floats and small plastics for the crappie. Remember they feed 'up' so don't run a lead that's too long. Walleye you'll wanna be rip jigging in any weeds you find, they should still be fairly shallow depending on water temps.

A couple of years ago…some “new Canadians” posted an entire video showing them running around netting and then spearing salmon in one of the rivers. They then put their full legal names in the credits and posted it to YouTube.
needless to say, charges were laid 😂

Does it really matter who is doing it, Canadians, Americans or Indigenous ?
Until everyone is treat fairly the same nothing will change.
Huh? One of those groups has very different rights than the other two.

The Severn doesn't have a huge population of pike, if you're back there all you'll be catching are bass. I find the back bays off the main Severn river are better for crappie than the one way back in the slop. This time of year crappie are all dictated by water temp. Find the right temp, find the fish.

I've got some big articulated patterns you can borrow if you wanna try your hand at a few of those. Big brownies/trout love them
