  1. Which elf :dunno:

Thorpe, you're looking good in that outfit - and obviously a better dancer than I.

(Man, I hate tights. Why would anyone want to wear something like that ... these days it seems mandatory for bicycling too; a sad deal ... when it moves on to motorcycles and fishing attire, we'll know the end is near.)

  2. Yippie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup_anim::thumbsup_anim::thumbsup_anim:

    The dogs have finally arrived.

Good to hear ... seems like Whopper is going to have fun with this in the future.

Thanks Lew, for being the first to let me know it showed.

Monique, thankyou for the kind words ... you look wonderful in the avatar and ad (might I say FAR better-looking than the guy next to you in the ad :w00t: ... tee hee). Seriously, thanks.

Maureen and all, thankyou ... I hope you like it ... please report.

I am off to chase deers around in Iowa with dad for a while. You folks keep smilin'

  3. Funny? Funny? What's funny :blink::dunno:

Easy for you to say Fishindevil ... you're not the one with the darn spinner on your head - or dressed in sissy-colored tights :w00t: - with toque - on some type of tube ... doing whatever they call such a thing.

Oh well. just no pearls while I'm away, please ...

Picked yourself up, eh, Thorpe? ;)

I'm off to Iowa in the morning. Be good OFners

    Pete

  4. Yeah mon ... I'm fishing :Gonefishing:

    er, where's the ice dude?

Well, you'll just have to keep waiting Roy, tee hee :P

    Sucker? :w00t:

Hey, I gotta go check the other thread, but someone said ... that you're short Roy ... is it true?

Thorpe, are you short; of course ...

  5. Hi all,

Wanted to stop in and say hi here. I was going over a bunch of stuff on the phone with Jen the other day - and she told me about this and her conversation with you Joey.

Congrats! Shirt looks great on you :thumbsup_anim:

    Best Wishes,

    Pete

  6. Hi,

Lew, that shot is awesome! Thanks for the report guys ... er, non-report ... good lord it must be a slow buss that heads up there from the printer.

Maybe have to get that buss going about 2 weeks sooner with spring issue -- hold the other copies 'till we know the tax man is at Roy's door.

  7. Hi,

Yeah TJ ... just seeing the awe on his face as he was showing off during the gutting ... his dad got to him first: said his arms were swinging and pointing - talking a mile-a-minute. Good stuff man!

Interesting rabbit you had there Art. Likely a good thing got him out of the gene pool. B)

misfish, ha ha ... oh I understand, and I am lucky that way: two brothers and dad who are rabid hunters ... and a son that I expect will be right there too - coming of age for it.

With our crew, there's never a lot of "urgency" to the "harvest" part of hunting (but certainly an important part). I am lucky there. I don't buy meat; on the road I'll eat the beef or chicken and like that too. At home though, lots of venison (whitetail, muleys, elk), ducks, goose, partridge, pheasants, the occassional Sandhill Crane or Swan from North Dakota ... sure wish one of my brothers would go back up north and get a Carabou again (my favorite).

(Oh, and besides racoon, beaver, and a few other odd things, I've actually eaten crow ... it's not bad marinated and to the grill.)

  8. Hi there,

Well thanks for the kind words, Whopper & Rich ... hopefully the dogsleds will arrive to the netherregions soon.

I think it's likely the best effort yet, actually; and awesome issue. Hope you all think so and let us know.

(Here's something I think is over :Gonefishing: ... the cold came in here in the night - ice time for good this time, I have a feeling.)

Hasn't arrived in Virginia yet either ... darn dogs.

For those waiting for it to hit newstand, it's Santa's :santa: favorite gift (a subscription) for yourself and others, ya know.

Hey TJ ... both of your ads are in there buddy ... we weren't :sleeping_02: this time.

    Pete
