  1. I've got a Tom Tom and am not worried about this one bit. I've never linked it to me or my house. It gets used more by people borrowing it. Yes it may track information, but I can't see how they can confirm that it was actually you doing the deed?

  2. Give it a couple more days. Anyone and everyone involved with water/waste water is at a huge conference in Toronto right now. I'll ask my girlfriend when she gets back. She will most likely be able to give me some info on who to talk to.

I'll also make sure she passes on the message to Geoff. If it's who I think it is he is at the show and one of the people in charge of the pump competition.

  3. incredible grain on that wood.

if you're THAT bored, i've been meaning to build a trailer hitch based canoe rack for my nissan! :D

LOL, I wanted one for my truck as well, never got around to making it so I just got the Thule Goalpost.

    Nice box!!!!

  4. If you have a [email protected] email addy don't worry.

Bell actually hosts it on Microsofts servers and the email accounts don't get deleted when you leave Bell.

I have been using my sympatico acct. for over 10 years and haven't had a bell inet account for the last 6.

Because it's a business line it doesn't work. It's @bellnet.ca and already doen't work. Although I still get to pay for another month because of their rip off schemes.

  5. I just moved my business at the beginning of the year. I was too slow in the thinking of changing providers. After a being raped by Bell again for more than $500.00 for the move, a $2000.00 plus dollar mistake on my part. I droped them. My number stayed the same, but my e-mail is what worries me. All of my print (cards, bottles, etc.) have the Bell addy on it. Plus my customers know that addy. They finally fed me enough crap that I was better off giving the money to get all this reprinted. I decided to go with Cogeco. Their customer service has been fantastic. I have internet (faster) and phone for less than just the phone at Bell. While there is a limit on the amount of downloads, I'm not worried, doubt if I even use half of it. Free calls anywhere in North America. I have Cogeco at home and have been really pleased with it there as well.

We used to have Explornet at home, I think that's who it was? It was brutal. Always going down. They gave us every excuse in the book for it. It's windy, it's rainy. It was so bad even when it was calm and sunny it would go down. Glad to be rid of that provider.

  6. Don't worry too much about it. After you pass your hunter safety course you just take the papers to the Service Ontario or whoever does your stuff locally. They will give you a temp. card (piece of paper)for your hunting stuff. You will not have to buy another outdoors card. It is actually illegal to have two. I know because I went through this and they were going to charge me. I made them realize they made the mistake and backed off.

After the year has lapsed you will get a new outdoors card sent to you with the H on it. Till then, always have your fishing card and hunting paper with you as you need both pieces to be legal. I would also recommend making a photo copy of the paper just in case it gets wet or ruined.

  7. Not true. I scrap pc heavy pipe,n/c,1 piece of brake spring,n/c.Handy welder near by,n/c.Eat lunch while working away on own time,n/c,do it all the time.1 spud ready for pick up Rob.n/c.

Yeah but then I would have to buy gas for the truck and all new ice fishing gear to be able to follow you out to one of your best fishing holes :whistling: . And you live at least 4 hrs away from me. I got the right friends, just in the wrong places :Gonefishing:

  8. Sweet choice of boat. My next one is going to be the Alaskan 1600 (hopefully this summer?). It will be mounted with an E-tec.

Had an E-tec on my last boat and it worked great. the only time I ever had to choke it was when it was something like -25 going duck hunting. Not sure if it is true or not but I have heard that 4 strokes have to be all the way down to start? 2 strokes can be started at an angle. for me that was an important factor because I am often starting up in shallow water.

I have been in the 1800 Alaskan. It is a nice big boat. Very stable and lots f room being tiller. While I do like consoles, my next one will be tiller for the space and not having to deal with the windshield while hunting.

  9. LOL, I know exactly how you feel. I have had this done to me by my ex. Mine was straight up the middle of the back. I left it as a conversation piece. Getting out of the shower rubbing my hair dry reminded me of having a toothbrush and tongue scrubber.....

  10. Back in '05 i looked at these vehicles and many more. I found them very basic and uncomfortable for what you were paying. I ended up getting a Honda truck instead. I have never second guessed myself on that decission. Of the top of my head I think it was $5000.00 more than the GM? I found it way more comfortable. Great gas milage (better than comparing to a friends Vibe as we do the same drive every day right now?) Lots of room and plenty power and braking for towing.

I have talked to a bunch of people about the GM's because they did catch my attention. I've yet to hear any of them say they absolutely love the truck for more than scooting around town. One dealer in town has five of them in their shop right now for tranny problems so I have heard.

  11. While I was at deer camp this fall this topic came up. Mainly because we hunt right where the elk were released. In our camp we have at least five people that would qualify for applying for a tag. All of us agreed that it would not be worth it to actually persue at this time. The cost of it would be more than any of us could afford. Who knows though, maybe in a couple of years?

While we do see elk during our hunts, we know we could probably get some. The meat is delicious. I have tried it while living out west.

  12. So in other words if you can't beat em join em????And what about all the people that don't have businesses? I should live off their backs too via high taxes? I know there are a lot of business men on this board and my opinions aren't popular, but I'm willing to wager that the majority of Canada(and every where else there is high taxation) agrees with me. Now if HST were going to improve social services I would not have too much of a problem with it. But to support business owners of most who are already wealthy? No way.

Hmm Wealthy business owner? Not me that is for sure. I would probably make more money working at McDonalds, but I choose not to. Running a business is not all fame and fortune. It costs a lot more than what people think. As for the HST rebate that business got. It doesn't do anything. Now large corporations might have gotten a bigger cut? But is sure a heck is not enough to change prices on anything. Now maybe if they cut down the property tax on busnisess that would help out. My new location that I am moving into next week has two apartments above it. They do not even pay 1% combined of the taxes that I do as a busness. and they are each larger than my business. The education tax that I pay is rediculous, but that is again, my choice to have a business.

No the HST is not doing any good for anyone. The government needs to control their spending and salary increases, but I doubt that will ever happen.
