  1. great report Sean, I really enjoyed catching them in the undercut brush, also . I think the key for our day was to move if the area didn't produce , we tried 5 different spots and caught crappie in 4 of them. Overall we had a great day, although it was a little choppy returning to the boat launch.

  2. casting distance is a good way of measuring how far to be away from another boat, But on Rice Lake a couple of weeks ago we were fishing in a marina and a guy snuck up beside us and anchored maybe 8 feet from us when the boat swung around in the wind. I also think it varies lake to lake, for instance if you are on a lake up north and you anchor within casting distance the guy is probably going to be a little upset.

  3. The action was non stop once we found them, the first bay we went into there was nothing except for an oos musky that liked my little jig(broke off), the second bay we went into is where we found lots of crappie and bluegill . We fished 1 1/2 foot to 3 feet of water , the fish bite did not stop when it rained either, and it rained/drizzled for about 4 hours. I'm going outside now to take the cover off the boat to dry it out. I enjoyed fishing with you again EHG, we'll have to get together when musky season opens.

  4. I'd suggest talking to the neighbor. Maybe calling the dog by name and getting him used to her voice. I wouldn't suggest feeding him anything unless it was cleared by the neighbor. Another idea might be to get to know the dog by petting it when the neighbor is present again getting it to know her voice. We had a dog as kids growing up that would bark at the neighbor, in his yard until he came over to pet it at the chain link fence.

  5. A man went in to the supermarket yesterday and noticed an attractive woman waving at him. She said hello. he was rather taken aback because he couldn't place where he knew her from. So he said, "Do you know me?" To which she replied, "I think you're the father of one of my kids."

Now his mind travels back to the only time he has ever been unfaithful to his wife and said, "My God, are you the stripper from my bachelor party that I made love to on the pool table with all my buddies watching while your partner sprayed us both with whipped cream?"

She looks into his eyes and says calmly, "No, I'm your son's teacher."

  6. I personally like Benjamin Moore, and would recommend eggshell for the walls . Alot of people use a semi-gloss for the doors and trim . I wouldn't take the doors off to paint them , but maybe remove the handles to paint. I found that the small stores that sell Benjamin Moore give good advice on what you need to do to prep before painting. good luck
