This is my first fall in the area and would like to have some help finding the trout streams anywhere local to Welland. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks

I fish bass touneys where I stand to win money and the only two floro lines I have found that is any good is seagaur and p-line. all others are too stiff and just break for no reason at all.

I have been out fishing the rec canal towards evening and on the last few trips have found some decent crappie. One even over 11". Has anyone else gotten them in the canal or river lately? Thinking of tight lines!

Don, I have tried but everyone I have talked to have told me things there are spotty at best. Any other suggestions somewhat locally? What about Lake Gibson? Black Creek? Know of any large ponds or small lakes? Thanks again Don Gary

I worked for an environmental firm for the past 6 years and am currently awaiting my paperwork to be able to do the same in Ontario. Where are you located? I could give you the names of a couple of consultant firms if you would like and get you some answers.

I'm new to Welland and am looking for places to take a 10 year old boy fishing where he won't lose iterest in a half hour. Not asking for specific spots, but would like some places local for him and myself. Thanks to everyone who would like to come forward and assist.
