  1. I hate to dissapoint you Billy M but I am but a mere spoke in a wheel. Don't know where you are getting your info from however I would reconsider the source. FYI- if you don't like sound fishing advice or looking at cool pic's of fish in the water - please feel free not to read my post's. Nuff said
  2. Dang....sorry your so upset with my post irishfield but these are the products that have gained my confidence. And no, I am not the president, just a card carrying member.
  3. One thing I hate while fishing a spinner is the line twist you get after a half hour of casting. Problem solved.....the new Riverwood spinners come with a no twist swivel already attached. Happy casting.
  4. Just cast and retrieve Tibbs.
  5. Purple worms work too.
  6. Lots of steelies still around.Key is to switch up your presentation. Managed some good mid week fishing on Riverwood spinners and Purple worms. Cheers.
  7. The Riverworms that I use come in 2 and 3 inch lengths. You can rig them wacky style however I like to use them on Jig heads. On occassion I also use the old needle technique and thread the line down the worm. Hope this helps. Cheers
  8. Here's another.
  9. Managed a few after work yesterday. Seems light pink worms are also on the steelies menue. Cheers.
  10. Now that my jaw is back where it belongs.....very impressive Mr. Leechman. Congrats
  11. Some great advice so far. Back 25 yrs ago or so the In-Fisherman Books and Mags all stressed the importance of FLP......Fish, Location, presentation. Are you sure steelies are present in the locations you are trying? There is another old saying......90% of the fish are in 10 % of the water. Good luck and looking forward to seeing your first steelie of the season. Cheers
  12. Thanks Tibbs....Jigs were also producing well. Good luck next time out. Cheers
  13. Was well worth the walk for solitude and steel. First steelie of the day hit a mini pink Riverworm. Hope everyone played nice and had fun. Cheers.
  14. Great report Leechman and cool partridge pic.
  15. Not Necessarily Kemper....we fished with roe for over an hour at first light with no hits. Soon as we switched to worms and jigs we were into a few. Cheers.
  16. Nice chunk of chrome
  17. Droppies were also interested in the non scented light pink colour.
  18. Steelies are a little late in dropping down this yr but still managed a few. Today's bait of choice.......a pink Riverworm.
  19. Nice to see some silver bullets still coming through.
  20. Talk about your Teritorial Aggression
  21. Nice Catch CC
  22. Not quite double double but close.
  23. Check your PM Darcy. Cheers
