Hi group. I have and issue with storage on my 13 ft smoker craft. 2015 I believe. I have a
solid floor with a split seat in the middle. I really want a compartment for storage. Is it advisable to remove foam and hinge the lid.
to create a storage for my fishing tackle or gear. Will I compromise the boat. Moses

I hear ya. would be nice to have that on film. Last summer i had a musky up to the boat while trying to grab my phone camera. Got off part way
out of the water. Was going back in anyways.

Yea that's why I said generally, there will always be exceptions of course for skinny or very fat fish. Sometimes it can depend on certain waterbodies as well that have poor or amazing forage bases. I was mostly going by fish I have caught and weighed.
Cheers
I noticed that over the years that fish in general can be lighter or darker color in certain water bodies

As a general rule I've always found that 25"=5lb, 26'=6lb, 27'=7lb... 30"=10lb, 31"=11lb etc. I've never caught anything bigger than 31.5" which actually was 11.5 lb too so I can't really say when they get bigger than that.
Cheers

Haven't been out on the Maitland lately. Been out on the North channel on the French river.
There are walleye to be had at the mouth of the Maitland. Caught a nice 21 incher last year. Just haven't had much time even
though im retired now. Go figure

Hi. I always launch my kayak at the marina. I just dont use the parking area. I park at the road near the Maitland trail site. Doesn't make sense to me to pay 18$ to
launch a kayak or canoe.

Yes. I'll probably contact them. I know what they will probably say. Come in and talk to us about an upgrade.
