Fair enough, I'd have very little patience for animal abuse (jokes included) if I had spent as much time as you helping abused animals.

 

No matter how much this cat bugs me I'll still be nice to it. Humor is just a way of letting off steam.... even if it includes a few off-side comments.

No, i doubt these things are actually being done by posters in the thread.

However.....I dont doubt that ive spent alot of time helping out both dogs and cats in my life and have seen what does go on in this world in terms of abuse and neglect and dont have much of a sense of humor left about it.

Lots of things out there that people disagree on and that effect people in differnet ways based on their experiences. I dont expect you to understand why it effects me one way and you another.

Just my opinion........Im a product of my experiences

Hockey not considered a major sport down here.

Hockey is the ONLY sport around here for the last 10 years.

Always amazes me how the NHL has problems growing the sport of hockey but a bunch of cars going in a circle is alive and flurishing all the way up into Alaska LOL

Bringing Ted Nolan to coach the Sabres, turned that team right around. And they didn't have much talent either.

Bingo......They were known to be referred to as the hardest working team in hockey at that time.

They had to work hard based on some of the middle of the road talent on the ice.

FYI, ruff seems to have lit a bit of a fire under them somehow. They've grabbed 9 of their last available 10 points. Beating washington and vancouver in OT the last two.

Ya know ya'll are free to adopt our hockey team down here if things are that bad up in TO. Just watch em' on the tube, dont be snatchin up all our tickets.

We'll let you know how this works down here in Buffalo. The Bills game this sunday will be blacked out locally (no TV coverage) because we could not sell out the stadium. Main reason for this lack of ticket sales..........were 0-8. Fans wont waste money on a ticket to go watch this team with no hope of achieving anything. No wins=less support. We'll see how this pans out down here and let you guys know if you should follow suit.

Ive been thinking about adding a labby to my life for quite some time now. Ive been researching for well over a year IN CASE i decide to do so. Ive looked at many breeders in my area and have narrowed down 2 that i am comfortable with. And ran into many more that i am not comfortable with. Im amazed at the amount of BYB's out there. I cant tell you how many times ive seen the "Silver Labs" offered. As was said, there are THREE colors recognized in the breed. Anyway, Im in NO HURRY when it comes to this process and when it happens , it happens........and ill know when its right.

Hate to be the one to say it.......and i dont mean it in a harsh way, but i dont think it would be very hard to come up with alternatives to keep your furry family member and try your business venture at the same time. I dont know your entire situation, so i could be wrong, im just trying to help you out as im sure its tearing at you. You look like two peas in a pod in your avatar.

Can you board the dog during daycare hours

Can you bring her to work with you during daycare hours

Can you find someone that would dogsit during the day and pick her up after work

Do you have a large property that you could put a small kennel away from the house

She looks good with kids, could you introduce clients to the pup and show them how docile she is and maybe use it as a cuteness tool to draw cleints

Could you explain to your wife that you took on a responsibility to care for this animal and daycare can wait a few years?

Ya i keep hearing that? I just dont see where they get it from? Not saying "they" are wrong i just seriously dont know how to evaluate a coach beyond having their players ready for gametime. And this team is QUESTIONABLE at best in that area.

Lindy and the zombified players post game interviews will keep regurgitating the same vomit after every game about "the system" "gotta keep it simple" "holding our sticks a little tight right now" "gotta get pucks to the net" "need to work 60 minutes" Yada yada yada yada yada yada yada So tired of robot interviews from athletes and coaches. Miller seems to be the only one who breaks that cycle on occasion. He hints at his TRUE frustration, but even he still walks on eggshells most of the time trying to get it out. Dont want to hurt anyones feelings now do we.
