  1. I found the 9.9 was enough on BOQ this fall for the slow trolling stuff and enough power there when you needed it. We didn't have really rough conditions but for the chop that was there on Sunday morning it was fine. For the high speed trolling I'd go with the bigger motor as Wayne suggested. That's what I do. A 5hp will not be enough I don't think. I've got a buddy that went with a 6hp on his 21 footer and it trolls fine but no boat control. BTW - I've got a Crestliner 1750 Fishhawk with a 115.

  2. Very nice Wil,

I can't help but say his sight is outstanding!

I can also say he and I must have crossed paths at one point in time. Look at his Birds of Prey photo #51.

Now compare that to my photo, his by all means are far superior to mine but look at the post. I think my truck sits higher than his car! LOL The more I look at it, I know exactly who pulled up in fromt of me now!

That's an amazing coincidence! I noticed that several of his shots were local areas. Nice to know we have that so close but with all the build going on who knows what the future holds. :dunno:

  3. .....Oh my, this is an easy one. I'd like to fish with everyone here at least once before I die.

That pretty much sums it up for me as well. And for those that I have fished with, I'd fish with anyone of them in a heartbeat again. They will always have a spot in my boat. ;) In 2007 I'll try to get as many in as I can. There's a great group of people here and it certainly would be nice to meet them all. B)

  4. My chiropractor does an annual toy drive at his office. He askes the patients to donate a toy or money to the cause and in return you get a raffle ticket for a chance at some prizes. The prizes are donated by local businesses and individuals. This year was another success by passing the set goals again. So the kids are the real winners here. :thumbsup_anim:

This year I was lucky enough to get my ticket pulled and won this beautiful signed photo taken by Larry Kirtley.

If you go to Larry's website Larry Kirtley. Then go the the gallery and select wildlife then go to picture #30. You'll get a better idea of how nice this picture is. Be sure to check out the rest of his shots as well. Some incredible pictures. B)

  5. Here's a side dish to go with just about anything!

Asparagas - marinate in olive oil, balsamic vinegar, coarse (kosher) salt, fresh ground pepper and chopped garlic... overnight if you can. Minimum time an hour.

Red Bell pepper - sliced into strips slightly smaller than the asparagas

Any smoked firm cheese, again cut into strips, the same size as the red peppers

    Procuitto!

Arrange 3-4 spears of asparagas (depending on thickness) on a single slice of procuitto. Add the bell pepper and cheese and roll it up into a "roulladin" and secure with a tooth pic.

Grill on med to medium high until procuitto is almost crispy.

    EAT! :thumbsup_anim:

I've always liked my veggies to have some meat in them!

I'm not a really big fan of Asparagas. HH made this for dinner when were out at the g2g at Merlands. Needless to say, I couldn't get enough of them. DELICIOUS!!!!!!

  6. CONGRATS !!!!!!! I think that Wayne hit the nail on the head.

..you didn't lose everything. Your family stuck by you and that's the most important thing in life. A lesser women would have bailed on you. Glad to see that with their support and lots of HARD work you've all rose above it,

Best wishes for many years of happiness in your new home. :thumbsup_anim::thumbsup_anim:
