Tried to turn on the Humingbird and it wouldn't turn on battery connections are all good and it almost looks like the unit is get some power as it looks like there is a faint light on the screen...last week I was having issues with it not turning off. Wondering if anybody has any idea, may be a good time for a upgrade!

posting this for a buddy who has a older Merc probably late 70`s early 80 65 HP. He bought the motor recently and it runs fine on the muffs startrs easy but when the motor is put into gear it just stalls out, gas is good plugs seem fine.... nything in particular we should be looking at? TIA.
