Hi Everyone, we havent posted for a while, but you know us as Whitey and Wifey from Simcoe Fishing Adventures. We have relocated and will not be doing ice fishing on Cooks Bay from here on... We are on Lake Weslemkoon near the Bancroft area. This is one of the top 10 bass lakes in Canada. We have a small cottage resort and offer fishing in the summer for bass and trout, fall hunting for bear, moose, deer and this year Elk opens! There is also perch in this lake and Whitey will run some huts as well. We hope you will check us out. We have some people coming for bass opener and we will post on how productive this lake is. Its December 9th, 2010 and we are excited to see Mother Nature cooperating with low temps condusive to making ice on Cooks Bay Lake Simcoe. As of this morning 75% of cooks bay has frozen over. Of course this is new ice and not safe as yet but we are getting there! If we are able to sustain below 0 temps up to Christmas we should be able to get out there over the holidays for some perch fishing. For those of you unfamiliar with our operation, click on www.simcoefishingadventures.com We are on predominantley perch on the south end of Cooks Bay, Lake simcoe and the first to freeze and get on the hard water. We posted a video today on our website and you will see the conditions as of today. Please call us to reserve a hut if you'd like to get out there. Hi guys. For the person who said they have expressview. If you go on Bob's site (real fishing.com) you wills see a show schedule and you will also see a list of stations if you "fish" around. Pun intended. It should tell you what locations/cable etc the shows air on. Anyways, enjoy. We had a blast with Bob, he's a good guy but lilkes to pick on you for sure! Last year in February, Simcoe Fishing Adventures hosted Bob Izumi of Real Fishing at our small business Simcoe Fishing Adventures.
