  1. Very nice fish Khalid! (Or based on the title of your post is it Borat?)

Thanks Mike for the complement. as per the title yes you can say it is a Borat :rofl2:. I know most of the guys here have a great sens of Humor...( and as Borat said...yes I like....lol )

  2. ok

I just set up an account to see

the only way I saw to get a picture here is to be in your picasa album

click on the photo you want then you should see a larger photo

then right mouse click on that photo and in the menu go to view image

then right click on image and in menu click on copy image location then go to your post and click on the image link above where you type in text and paste in lenk and click on insert image

    it just worked for me

Thanks a lot.. I will try your steps..before I saw your response I was able to just drag the pic from picasa

  3. I'm looking to do some float fishing for steelhead this fall/winter/spring...

Over the last 2 years I've researched artificials for steelhead and people seem to be doing well on these options...

    I have

Wooly buggers in pink, olive, and black

Steelhead jigs in pink, purple, and orange

    Trout beads

Soft artificial eggs 6&8 mm in tangerine color

    And pink berkley worms...

    I think I have a good selection

But how to use thus stuff?... And dose this stuff work?

    Do I add scent?

Am I wasting my $ on this artificial stuff?

Like I said... I primarily would like to float fish for these trout... But I find roe a pain in the rear end... And would like to avoid harvesting fish for their eggs...

    Thnx

    Mike

if you are using Marabou Jigs make sure not to put any scent on the feather. It will affect their action in the water.

  4. Thanks everyone for the complement.

Like you said it is a such sweet piece of art thanks to Adam, I tried it (no fish yet) it works great, Very quick start up probably due to the fact that it is a 5" diameter. The clicker is super strong so no more need to use any rubber bands. I m so excited to see it in action this fall.

I'll let you know then :)

    :)

  5. I was using side cast untll I dedided I had enough of line twisting.

So this summer I learned my cast from this clip. I watched it like500 times and went to the park 5 times to practice it. was fun. I even heard some kids saying there is man fishing in the park..:rofl2:

It is always nice to have the river just for myself.. it was not the case in the pic...I just happen to show up after everyone has given up..lucky me that day. a run just started coming up. that kept me busy for a good hour.

  8. Thanks for the info. It's too bad no one made the effort to let you in on an unwritten rule around here: make you first post an introduction rather than a request and you will be welcomed.

Thanks for the info re the Niagara river. Now how about you tell us what you are fishing for and maybe show us a pic or two. We like fish porn.

    Welcome.

thanks for letting me know. I will post a brief introduction of myself
