  1. The box is a hard box that the top opens, it has hard plastic what I will call pages in them that flip side to side. The hooks of the tackle is hung on small openings on the tops of the pages and as I said you can flip the pages like you would in a filing cabinet. No way hooks can get tangled up and the baits are easy to see. I know they sell them at a shop in Woodstock but have not seen any online. Anyone know what the hey I'm talking about? I've never seen one like this in the 35 years I've been fishing. Thank you if you can help me find one. I know they can't be cheap, but it would save me hauling a half a dozen or more trays of minnow baits in the boat.

  2.

Do you remember where you ordered your post from?

    bawbag,

Where are you located? Most marine supply stores will have these in stock or be able to get them for you.

I purchased mine a few years back from Port Whitby Marine Supply. http://www.weblocal.ca/port-whitby-marine-supplies-whitby-on.html

For 238 series seat mount reference, http://www.attwoodmarine.com/store/product/238-seat-mounts

When choosing a length for a fixed post, make sure you take into consideration the height of the seat base/mounts and the height (thickness of cushion) of the seat you choose to make sure the total height isn't too much.

Not sure of current pricing. I remember paying around $100 for the fixed post and base combo and almost double for the adjustable.

  3. Got someone maybe helping me out here now. Wolf... will look into that again, thought it was for post in the U.S. only.

BPS started including Canadian addresses in their shipping promotions around a year ago. They frequently have free shipping/reduced shipping promotions.

  4. SAIL - No. (can't special order) LeB's - No. BassPro & Cabelas Canada - No but Stateside Yes - $20 order with $20-25 shipping. Blah!

    Bunk,

BPS currently has " $5 shipping no minimum purchase, use code SHIP5" promotion. Might be an option if you can't find them locally.

  5. I'm still trying to figure out what the issue is that it was a dollar cheaper than BPS.. and now it's $41 cheaper than BPS??! and he won't be there..

I think he is implying that since the "tax free event" only applies to items not already on sale, that they purposely reduce big ticket items before the sale...

    Just a guess...

  6. Where did you read it has x ship? I only ask because I am certain it does but it is not listed as a feature on the shimano website. One of the guys on another forum was considering buying one but only if it had x ship and when he saw that on shimano's site, he was pretty dissapointed. I am still of the impression it has it, I just wante to see it from a reputable source.

    Lape0019,

Looks like the the stradic CI4FA will have x ship. http://www.basspro.com/Shimano-Stradic-CI4FA-Spinning-Reels/product/1306150615101/
