Was nice hooking up with you guys. Yes even you Wayne lol. Fishing was slow , winds were wild but the friendships we keep are always the best part of our 3 days closing trips. The snow was a bonus. Never made a snow man in my boat before and hope never to get the chance again. Once again thanks to OFC for being around. With out this site I would have never met these great friends. Well it's off to Elsalvador Thursday for a well needed rest. Then it's time to start looking for ice to start our hard water season.

Like always its nice to have you guys and gal out. It was for a great cause and I'm sure we will be doing it again next year. Its to bad fishing was so slow but it was a blast none the less. As for no camo pants lol it was HOT!!!!!!!!! lol

Was out early Sat tried going for the big ones but it was to windy changed up and moved in close ended up with a nice small pike.

 

Sunday great day on the water, nice 3 lb walleye and a bunch of sheep.

Better on the water trying to figure it out then sitting at home lol I live for the hunt.

Was a Very hard opener. With lots of changing to find a lure and color they wanted we managed 13 sat. Sunday was even harder with only one fish for 7 hours of fishing.

Stay with the high test!!!! No ethanol in high test. Old fuel lines don't do well with ethanol over time. I could show you piles of rotten fuel lines and carb gaskets from using reg fuel. That's why most marinas are going to high test at the pump. Pay now or pay later. Stay with the good stuff

3/4 Baltic birch with marine glue 4by8 sheet cost me 140 tax in for two sheets. This stuff will out last me. Put a fiberglass resin coat on the bottom side and two on all edges. No water getting in now

Well I for one would not have a problem paying $200 to live and fish another day. What is $200 when it comes to life. I pay lots of taxes and not a lover of it but paying $200 for a ride of life how can you go wrong.

Took a drive to Dave's (fish finder charters) in Trenton to have a look at the ice and it's good. His huts are going out and he will be open tomorrow for business. He said ice has been bad this year but looks good by his place now. Fishing should be good with all the mild weather we have

had. With this cold snap it's making good ice. Will be going out next weekend and see if I can hook a few eyes and jumbo perch.

Terry once again boated a hog 12.6 lb. Fishing was hard this season

Always pay the fish gods after I set my spread. Some times 2 and 3 times in a day. Can tell you lots of money at the bottom of Lake O and bay of quinte. Anyone that has been on my boat knows it pays to pay the fish gods

Great chatting with you as well Lloyd, it gets tiring just listening to Joe ramble on. I said to Joe after we dropped off the package (you did get it I trust?) that Lloyd would be on the air horn right now as a couple of boats were coming in hard. just nuts. Hopefully I'll see you down there on Saturday, weather seems to be shaping up.
