Thanks for all the direction!! I have been using a fish finder and have a topo map of the lake, but have not been working the down riggers or copper line. I guess that is the next step!!

Can anyone offer any tips and tricks for catching lake trout in Kennisis Lake? I'm sure it has everything to do with my fishing abilities but I sent almost 24hrs this past week trolling the lake with no luck whatsoever. I'm starting to think there aren't any fish in the lake!!

Well here's hoping the warm weather this week makes a difference, I was hoping to head up there the weekend of the 24-25th!!

Hope someone can help out. I am looking to head up to the Hailburton area either this weekend ( April 17) or the next, does anyone know if the ice is out yet. More specifically I was going to hit Kennisis Lake. Thanks
