a couple hours past bed time for a lifetime of memories... well worth it

while I agree with you, it's not that others don't want to post but how many times can you say " great story" "thank you for sharing" " amazing trip". It seems like your padding your post count. I am one that absolutely loves everyone's stories, and reports. This is one of the few forums where many on here go to lengths to paint the picture and make you feel like you're there with them in their reports.
As for the political posts, that's an easy avenue to b@#$% bout the world and what its becoming. People are less likely to praise that to B@#$%. its just how we are wired.

great looking buck!

for the area that they are going to Dredge I think its a excellent idea. that section of the lake is very shallow and during the summer months its just a pile of sloppy algae. Deepening certain parts of the lake would be great and hopefully lessen the lake of some of the choking algae during June-July.

My kids love going to the pond every year at the Ex. Going on Thursday, hope to see you there if you're volunteering again.

Ouch expensive list, my bass rod seemed to handle the musky okay, but that might have been a one off. The bass rod is heavy action 6'6" with 60lb braid already, its meant for flipping heavy cover and pulling fishing out.
it is but IMO worth it

I made the jump this year and let me tell you it is NOT cheap to target those toothy buggers!! New rod $350+ , New reel $400+, 12 lures $20 average each .... still missing bolt cutters, terminal tackle ( barrel swivels, swivel snaps, etc) It's worth it once you catch a few thou... Good luck

awesome report!!! Thank you for sharing!

have you played with the frequency? One works better than the other ( i think its 200) After I changed my frequency it made a world of difference.

head to the launch and you can cast out from there. Haven't been this year but i've done that a few times in the past with my kids.

amazing news!!

do you have your own gear? If so you'll be alright without going with an operator. I know a guy that I could intro you that stays at quinte for the entire hardwater season. He takes people out all the time and does it for free. Nicest guy you'll ever meet. Pray for quinte to ice up good and send me a PM on when you're interested in going.

DEFINITELY COUNT ME IN!! Thank you for the opportunity!

Sending you prayers!!! Hang in there and fight it! Many stories of people that have done it and I'm sure all of us would love to hear another one. Kudos to whomever dropped off food, incredible gesture.

Hi folks, Just asking any of the guys/ladies on the board here if they can recommend an instructor for a one stop PAL and hunter education course, in the Peterborough or surrounding communities. I have been on the OHEP website and there are a number of instructors. My Dad and I are looking to take the course this winter. I have spent a lot of time in a classroom in my life and I just don't want it to be a bore. We are there to learn of course and will take it seriously but if possible we would like to enjoy it, since it will be a minimum 20 hour course. Maybe sinker or some local guys on here know of someone. Thanks
i know you can do it online but while you're in class ask about doing your turkey license at the same time.

congrats!! I always love reading your reports. Seem like a natural transition!
i'm a quitter...again.

one of the biggest reasons i stopped smoking cigarettes was cigars.. I love my cigars but I smoke 1 or 2 a week. It was much better than 2 packs of cigarettes a day even though each cigar is worth about the same as a pack of smokes
