  1. i actually frame for a living, ive been framing for about 9 years nows. personally i would go with your second option on building it yourself, you and your wife get to design it and the best part of that is you get to watch it being built, you can kind of be a supervisormind you have to bring coffe's. if you have your house built in a subdivision you dont know what type of framer your dealing with cause there are alot of guys that just dont care, these house get thrown up in a week and a half and if theres not a good crew were on it youll have squeeky everything. good luck to you and your wife.

  2. went to B.P and spent 5 bills on a sage fly reel and 4 on a sage fly rod, 100 bucks for the line another 100 on a fish pond chest pack, so 1100 right there not to mention that i bought my first boat at the end of summer, 18' 2002 fish hawk. spending money on fishing doesnt bother me because it is something that i truly love, its not about the money at all.

  4. wow!!! great report aniceguy!! congratulations on the new boat! shes a beauty! i see that you love to fish the credit, i am the same way only i stay away from the river in peak runs because of the number of people on the river. so your saying that the bridge just below erindale park is open year round?? ive never fished those stretches, can you walk right underneath that bridge?? i've been dieing to get out for some steel and the credit is awesome in the winter, its a bit of a drive from where i live so it hurts when i drive down there and find out shes blown, if you can tell me the river is fishable right now that would be much appreciated and i think instead of going ice fishing tomorrow ill bust out my 10' sage and make a trip down there. thanks in advance

  5. ive been fly fish'n my whole life and it takes a while to develope trust in a good leader, there is nothing worse than finally hooking that bow only to have your tippet snap, anyway there are only two brands that i fully trust and they are: frog hair(florocarb) and my favourite is 6lb. p-line(florocarb) these tippets wont let you down!!!

  6. me and 3 friends will most likely be heading up there friday morning, were also heading out of caledar. we went last year and fished around the three sisters and we couldnt keep them off!!!! this was in february though. first ice there is always incredible fishing!!! if you get skunked up there then you shouldnt be fishing, but we all have clam huts so if you see them, stop by! good luck!!!!
