I thought there was a massive recall on them and they reframed the trucks.  Maybe the date rusted off too.  Only 2 things don't please me with them are the high fuel use and seats that don't fit my grumpy back, otherwise ok.

my buddy had his rusted out frame replaced on his Tacoma. Had to kick and scream for a bit but they did it. practically had to rebuild the truck

Any right hand  fishermen cast bait caster left handed and reel right handed?   I do about half the time.

Should have said both hands with left hand on top, left hand on reel.

me. i'm a righty - cast with my left (and/or right - depends on the situation) and reel with my right on any spin & baitcaster. never realized I was in the minority until I'd pick up friends rods and realize everyone else reels in left handed. I also cut my food with the knife in my left hand and feed with my right. apparently also uncommon

NoFrills has pork tenderloins cheap cheap cheap.

Grabbed 3 packs and froze 2 and made one into a pork fry burritos.

The pork was sliced thin and marinaded from noon yesterday, and put in the pan at 3 pm today. My goodness, talk about tender.

    Pics as usual

Beef balls were boiled in soya sauce water for Mondays stir fry, with today's left over pork.

  4. Well. Talked to rapala today. Told me to bring it back to CT. Thank god i swiped my CT money card or there would have been no record of me every buying it. Exchanged it for the same lure. Lets see if this one lasts longer than 2 days and few fish.....

Just fyi - i returned an item to CT on the weekend without a receipt. They used my debit card to find the transaction as proof of purchase.

  5. How are you starting your BGE?

    HH

I use the natural charcoal starters mostly. 99% of my egg'ing is done on the weekends where i've got more time, so i usually cut a starter cube or two into a few pieces and spread it amongst the charcoal. About 15-20 i've got the grill on getting hot and ready to cook. Found this video when i was doing my research, but dont know if i'd try it -

  6. LOVE my BGE. It is possible to get it to cooking temp in about 15 - 20 mins - look for tips on YouTube. I get home too late during the week so it mostly gets used on weekends while my old gas Weber holds down the weekdays. After much research, i went with the XL and have no regrets. I'd advise not to go any smaller if you can afford it.

Best thing i've made on it to date - grilled rabbit. Brined for 24hrs. Was incredible. I've also done our thanksgiving turkey on it and pizza (using the pizza stone).

  7. just got word that my father in-law will be giving up his license. they're looking to sell his Ford Escape (it's the 2nd generation model - probably 2011 or 2012). I dont have many details about it on hand, but can get them if you're interested - drop me a PM. I do know that it's in really great shape and my father in law is super meticulous about anything he owns. if i didn't already lease a new vehicle in Dec I would have snapped this up in a heart beat.

  8. during our walleye trips we've caught many monster SM (incidental) in and around the mouth of South River. they may move off those areas later in the season. South River is not too far a scoot from Callendar if you have the right boat for it.

  9. Without being specific, some Canadians are in their situation by course of their actions (or inaction). It's about people: Canadian or not. Most of these "non-Canadians", many of them children, left their country because of war. It's odd to read some of the comments with that story and how people want government to take care of people, perhaps the same people that don't understand or despise taxes. How much socialism do you want and how much are you prepared to pay. Now here's to hoping Simcoe produces 7 inches for the lakers.

Amen. So many people are jumping on the 'help our own' wagon and most of the ones that I personally know don't ever raise a finger to help the homeless or the vets in this country.

If you're on Facebook, i encourage you to check out the Humans of New York page - and in particular, the series of stories done on the victims of war and other mindboggling atrocities in places like Syria. It's beyond heartbreaking. The comments I read on news articles about the refugees coming to this country make me embarassed to be a Canadian. We are humans - help for all where possible.

I would rather my tax money go to help these people than some one like the guys down my street who smokes a pack and a half a day, drinks like a fish, and in no short time will be adding to the strain on our health care system that I pay into.

  10. Question for Simcoe experts - my friend is launching out of Talbot marina tomorrow (rental boat) and is wondering if 20km winds will make for a hairy day of fishing?

i usually only fish in cooks and will stay away when the winds get that high.

Leave the whole cluster of flowers , this page shows what I mean by a sucker. There is a lot of discussion whether there is any advantage to this. My rule is sucker and stake my indeterminates and let the determinates and Romas go and cage them.

    what he said^

some beefsteak strains are determinate, others indeterminate. try to find out which you planted to help with the advice above.

Your mistake right there. Some police get annoyed when you start questioning their actions.

    Devils advocate time...

Seeing as you were annoyed enough to ask why you were pulled over, would it not be possible that you showed a little attitude when asking said question? That's a surefire way to get the cop to look for any problem that can be ticketed and we all know there's 3 sides to every story...

that's a little ridiculous. you have every right to ask why you've been pulled over without having to worry about some sort of retribution. asking a question doesn't automatically mean you're giving them attitude. no doubt the scenario you painted probably plays out that way often enough with the bad apples in the bunch. and in that case, fighting it on principle alone would be worth it, in my opinion.

A plasma TV is a phosphor based device, which can have issues with burn-in and image retention. Basically what you're doing here is exercising the TV for the first 80-100hrs so it's gets harder and harder for image retention to happen. I know guys that didn't bother with 'burn-in' and their sets are fine.. When I picked up my Panasonic VT, I did it more for peace of mind :)

Ah totally forgot about that. Did that for my first plasma, but not the 2nd. I remember it being important 6 years ago but totally forgot to do it with the more recent one. Both are set for auto-shut off after a few hours just in case the kids leave something up on the screen.
