Anyone know of a place in the Ottawa area that might rent out boats for a weekend? I'm looking for something that I can use for muskie fishing for the weekend. I'd prefer something with a console and outboard, but I'm not sure there are companies that rent boats of that calibre. Any suggestions? Patow

A muskie, is a muskie, is a muskie. The thing that matters is that they all get set free to swim another day so that everyone has a shot at the fish of a lifetime.... I'll take a fish trolling any day. Lots of technique and skill involved in catching them consistently with this method. It's not just a matter of throwing a line out the back of the boat. If it was, we'd all be doing it and posting amazing pictures, wouldn't we? :) Patowski

Went out fishing on the big O last night for a couple of hours, and managed to snag two decent muskie, a 43" and a 50". Here is a pic of the 50" that my buddy snagged. Beauty fish. Bent out a 5/0 mustad hook! What a fight. Have to give a shout out to Mr. Marc Thorpe for showing me the way of the ROMO. Caught the 43" on a romotail. HAHA! Patowski
