  1. Thanks for the replies guys. Hopefully I can repay the favour sometime soon.
  2. Heading up to Lake Muskoka for some fishing in a few days and wondered if any one has some advice on fishing on the lake. I am going to be staying on the Muskoka River near the mouth of the lake. Was hoping to target bass and Walleye (if they are in the lake). Might also try Joseph or Rosseau aswell. Any comments would be appreciated, unfortunately I really have zero knowledge on the lake or the fishing. Thanks.
  3. Power worms are excellent as are the tubes. Go for natural colours. I love the grubs for walleye, white being an excellent choice. For some reason I catch more walleye on the power grub than on gulp.
  4. Definitely agree with other poster about Georgian bay, my experiences were humbling at best. Huge amounts of water to fish and very tough to find Ski's. Have caught some nice bass and pike there though.
  5. I have heard similar stories before, you are likely closer to getting struck than you think. The thinking is to get far away from the graphite rod, although that is diificult in a boat.
  6. I own a Lund Angler Tiller - 16'3 and 80" wide. Really like it. Very stable and quiet ride. Lund make real quality boats that will last a long time if cared for. I have a 40hp 4stroke and go 25-28 mph on calm water. The bonus is being able troll at slow speeds with the 40hp, with 75hp you may need a kicker or something if you plan on doing any trolling. Good boat for 2 ppl with 3ppl crowded but manageable.
  7. First time posting, hello to all! I was looking for some advice about a bow mount trolling motor. I own a Lund tiller 16'3" long. Would a 55lb thrust 12V motor be enough power? Also does anyone have any recommendations on what to buy? I had the MinnKota powerdrive in mind. Any comments are appreciated.
