Mind you I did get a rainbow at port maitland pier. Female let it go . Likely was full of eggs.

Ya, was at the whirlpool, but that is a hike down and back up. The steel stairs down has limited space at the bottom for fisherman.

Ya ,did the whirlpool last year. It is definitely a hike down and coming back up is a work out. I have read the United states side has a lot more access points to the river.

Hi I'm looking for a easy access point to shore fish on the Niagara river canada side. I have only been fishing for 2 years. Like to try salmon and steelhead fishing.
