UPDATE - Found one. No longer looking.
Hello,
I am looking to buy a 20' Lund Alaskan 2000 SS in a tiller configuration (with or without outboard).
If you have one or know someone that does, please let me know.
Thanks

Very sad! My heart goes out to Leslie and the kids and to all of his familiy and friends. He will be missed. I am grateful for the time I was able to spend with him over the years. He was a friendly, welcoming, kind and generous guy but also very entertaining in so many ways.
Cheers Kevin!

Well, forgettable? Maybe but... man, that is/was 1 excellent producing lure for me.
Retired now.
Thanks guys

Close, but definitely not speed traps. I searched "Luhr Jensen" lure currently on ebay and didn't see another one like the one I have.

Is definitely not a rattle trap. The lip was not added after the fact. The lure was bought new (many years ago) as-is.
The prism tape was original but is now peeling off.
The lure is made of wood.

Hi all,
I have a couple of rods that need repairs. One in particular is St. Croix Legend Tournament where the "foot" of one of the guides has pulled (ripped) out of the spot where it was mounted. Do I just press it back down and put some clear nail polish on it?? Will that hold?
Does anyone know of someone that knows what they're doing when it comes repairing rods? I'm in the Burlington area but location is flexible.
Thanks in advance for any help/guidance.

Hi there,
I've had the Maxxum 80lb. for a few seasons now. I love it. Lots of torque, reliable, easy to use, very responsive (due to the cable drive vs. the electric) but, of course, no option for iPilot. I like the lift system much better than the electric drive unit too.

Does anyone know of a good tackle shop in the general area of Highway 403 / Dundas (Hwy 5) area of Oakville?
Thanks,

Hi all,
FWIW...
I track the water level on Nipissing and I can tell you that it's 10cm higher as of yesterday compared to the same time last year. So, that's a positive sign.

I'll be primarily targeting Pike and Musky...but we fish for walleye in the evenings.
Musky Season opens the 3rd Saturday in June.

Hi all,
For what it's worth, the water level on Nipissing this past Monday was 6cm (just under 2.5 inches) higher than it was on Monday, March 23/09 and is trending sharply upward (yes, I track it. Sick... I know! ).
Of course, the big difference this year is the lack of snow this season so... we'll see how it goes. I do recall the water levels early last season being very high.

Here's the website for the new Port Credit Salmon and Trout Association http://www.pcsalmonandtrout.com. Will be expanded soon. You can sign up to keep in the loop on the club's activity.
Ended up heading down to the Show this morning.....I took the "GO" train in and walked over to the Convention Centre (no parking fee this way...can also take the Subway).....The new venue at the Toronto Convention Centre is "Great".....big, lot's of room , in 2 seperate halls connected (fishing in one and hunting in the other) and very bright as there are huge windows on one wall...
I did not need anything but prices seemed good for alot of fishing related stuff...ran into a couple freinds who were very happy with the deals they got.
Food is always expensive at these places but.........just in front of the centre were 3 BBQ big trucks (assorted menu)...got a hot dog and fries for only $4.50 (dollar extra for Polish sausage)...make sure you get your hand stamped as you leave the building so you can get back in.
Very interesting free fishing seminars I sat through also.
I visited an old freind "Phil" who started a new Club in Port Credit...they have a booth there (donated he said from The Sportsman Show) They are recruiting membership for helping raise funds and volunteers to raise 5,000 chinook salmon next month in a Pen to better the fishery off the Credit and help educate young people in this type of stuff.....I think it's called "Port Credit Salmon and Fishing Assoc"...they have alot of great prizes for member sign-ups.......visit them if you go down.......The guy that runs the Show (Walter Osler) has donated alot of booths to these types of organizations I understand and he donates alot of money also.....another reason to go and enjoy this Show...
I don't have any connection to the Show, but after being told all this from Phil...I thought it should be put out there...
The Show is there and I found it enjoyable...go down and check it out.....or if you don't go.....don't carp about it cause you were not down there to actualy check it out (it has changed this year for the better)

Hi all,
My travels will take me to the Stouffville area. I don't know it at all and I'm wondering if anyone knows if there are any decent tackle shops in the general vicinity?
Cheers,

I can throw another vote at the in-floor radiant heat concept... Lots of possibilities that most folks aren't really even aware of. Not sure where you're located but I can highly recommend these people. Talk to "Walter", he know's what he's talking about, will answer your questions, no obligation and no "Bull".
Cheers,

Thanks for the reply. The 1st place I tried calling was Navionics but they were closed for the day and the auction on ebay was going to end soon, just thought I'd try to get some quick help here.
Cheers and thanks again.

Hi all,
Can anyone confirm that the Navionics "HotMaps Canada all in one Silver" will work correctly in Humminbird 798?
Also, does anyone know what this map offers vs. the other Navionics maps that are available for Canada?
I didn't see anything at all about these "Silver" maps on the Navionics site or on HBird.
Any help will be appreciated.
Cheers,
