  1. Charlie Wray's show is definitely one big ad disguised as a fishing show.

Bob Izumi does put in the odd plug, but he's still more educational than advertising. I look forward to his show every Saturday.

Fishin' Canada and Fish TV aren't too heavy on the plugs either and are worth the watch.

    My two cents.

  2. 30lb Powerpro Maxcutro on my pike reel is going into season 3. It's faded but I dont care as I use  2 or 3 feet of fluoro leader.

It's got a thinner diameter for same strength and as a result I can get another 15 or so feet casting distance compared to the braid I had on before.

    Highly recommend.

  3. Had what I consider great success first time using one after work at a Toronto marina. Senkos, paddle tails, and square bills werent catching anything. Hooked up 3 smallies in under an hour once I started tossing the WP. Used a 90 Perch.

My only issue with them is if anything gets stuck on the rotor, the body starts to spin and if you don’t have a swivel your line will twist. They only work well where there is no crap floating on the surface. As well, the front hook would occasionally catch my line. I’m going to switch it out to #6.

Otherwise highly recommended. Wish I had one earlier.

Those damn tattoos and ‘leftist ideals’. You never hear of rightiwing tattoo-free people committing suicide. ?

The only sinking jerkbait on the entire market, can also be modified to suspend by clipping the weight. Though expensive, they are the best jerkbait I have ever thrown...they are better than the vision 110's IMO and a shadow rap feels like a piece of trash in comparison.

They are handmade as well by a guy in St Catherines, and if you ever experience any issues at all, he responds immediately and will replace the bait no questions at asked.

Nice looking lures! Size and weight are just what I'm after. Thanks!

  6. Anyone know of any decent jerkbaits in the 100-130mm size range heavier than 1/2oz or 14g's? Preferably 3/4 oz.

Picked up a live target smelt, but want something heavier and suspending with some bright colours that I can launch from shore.

    Thanks.

  7. I've got a lure that someone gave me after he found it stuck on his sailboat. It's been hanging in my garage for 4 years and I finally got sick of looking at it and checked it out today.

It's an OSP Rudra 130 SP. Solid feeling rattling suspending jerkbait.  Yellow body, hazy purple back, orange belly. I wish I cleaned up sooner after inspecting it today.

I've never heard of this company. Everything I find online is Russian or Japanese.

Does anyone have experience with these or know if they're any good?

    Thanks!
