Hi guys, Just want to circle back because we did end up going to Rock Pine--appreciate the suggestion. The resort is really nice, particularly the cabin. We found that fishing near the cabin was not nearly as productive as spots further up the channel and closer to Georgian Bay, which we suspected would be the case. Unfortunately we had a quite a blow the last day, which kept us off the water a good portion of the day. Overall, caught a lot of pike (none of great size), a lot of smallies, and some largemouth from bays.

Thanks OhioFisherman! Ironically, i just looked at Rock Pine yesterday and sent the link to our group. And, also ironically, I too am an Ohio fisherman. I live in Columbus as do two other members of our group and 1 in Middleburg Heights. Not to get political, but the way things are going right now, i just hope we're allowed to cross the border come late-Summer.

Thank you all for the replies. Blue Heron and Brennan Harbour certainly look nice, but probably slightly farther than the group wants to drive. I'll look into Woods Bay Cottages--thank you. Years ago, we used to park at Woods Bay Marina, but I wasn't aware they rented boats and had cottages.

We've been staying at the same cottage near the Massasauga Provincial Park for 15+ years but our hosts aren't renting anymore so we're looking for a new spot around the same area or as far North as Parry Sound. Complicating matters is we need to rent a boat. The cottage we've always rented came with 2. Any recommendations on cottages and/or boat rentals are greatly appreciated. We're a group of 4.
