  1. i've been to see louie a few times so far in my boating experience....hell we've even invite each other to family functions

does great work on aluminum and stainless steel.....not too mention lower units!!!! :whistling:

last bump i had only cost me 400....and that was for a mangled skeg and two major dents on my prop...

  2. years ago on my dads old farm we saw one.....well my uncle stands back takes aim and BANG....

couldnt pick up this 30 lbs bundle of prickles...so uncle goes back to the farm grabs the tractor

tie him up to the forks....bring him back...skinned him and quarted him

brought back to toronto.....we gave it to the women to cook and told them it was rabbit

ive never seen stew being eaten as fast as that stew was....

my mom kept saying to my dad.....why dont you guys go get some more rabbit...thats the tastiest ive ever had......lol..

  3. i have an 8 hp hi thrust yammy on my 1900 prov that sits along side my 200hp

great little motor...awwwsome to troll with...

    id get that second motor!!

also see if you can get the remotes for it too...it would be great to operate it from your driver seat

  4. best advice i was ever given while backin a trailor was to grab the steering wheel from the bottom...and steer in the direction you wanna go.....when your hands are at the top...its the reverse

also very important........navigate the boat very very very slowing round docks and ramps...for some reason boat manufacturers dont install brakes on them

now youve said your on your own....youll need a long rope....back up the trailer to the point where itll come off....at this point youll need to tie a rope from your boat to the dock...

back the boat off...oh make sure you have enuf slack..

  5. update on my humminbird......sent it off again to north bay.....apparently it was the gps puck that was shorting the unit out....same problem last fall

why goerge didn't mention it last year is beyond me

anyways he repaired the same component and only charged me 35.00...

ran it all day yesterday and it was perfect.....

thanks for all that tried to help....

  6. ya bill...checked it three times....have enuf volts goin thru it....funny thing is that before i permanently placed it in its spot i had it working....double checked all my connections...moreted the connections than taped all the connections up....screwed the panel back ...then the unit decided to make a great case to be an anchor!

bought the unit used last fall for 800....

  7. bought this wanna be anchor last fall....plugged it in for the first time and something blew....of to hummingbird it went...135.00 later it came back

well today i was gonna wire it in...all was fine...powered up ..was glad to see it work....

after a few hours i turn it on again....it stops working!!! :wallbash:

powers up ok....but when i hit any key to get into the main area the main page freezes and starts to screech....

    anyone have any ideas??
