  1. My dilema is that gas here is 110.

Its just a work truck so being gutless may not be to much to worry about....Lew, you speed demon LOL

Anything with the 4.7 is a heck of a lot more then what I wanted to spend on a work truck.

Mainly looking for something reliable. Front end problems are a new thing to me, Im used to driving Nissan pickups.

Thanks you guys, Im gonna head over to the stealership and lowball them.

For some reason I dont feel bad hurting a car salesmans feelings, weird.

  2. Rick, no plans needed!

If you wanna make something with dovetail joints its easiest to go to home depot and buy the little router jig.

If you have little pieces of wood laying around, you can do the joint yourself on a small table saw but it does take a little practice.

I made a decent sized display box for kitfisher on here to take to trades shows.....maybe shoulda got some pics of it.

You can go to home depot and buy glued planks of wood...be it pine, cedar, maple, oak.

    Saves needing a planer.

Oh ya, if you have a decent sized chunk of wood....f this, ill PM you.

  3. Name 'em.

That's right, it's the paddy cake hall of fame and doesn't have any "dirty" players in it.

I know, players like Messier and Clarke weren't dirty, they just played with passion and heart.

    Your kidding, right?

    For starters.....

    Glenn Anderson and Mr Ciccarelli.......

    How can you forget Gilmour?

There are also arguements for old Flames blocker Mike Vernon.

I dont like him for a number of reasons, being dirty just added to it.

There are some dirty players in the HHOF (ofcourse) but they had much better

    numbers then Lindros.

    What about Bill Ranford??????

Have you looked at the stats?

  4. Hope it aint glued down like particle board subfloor usually is or your in for a real treat.

Also, do you have a drywalled basement ceiling?

If you find any squeaky flooring you can always sink the PROPER sized

screw into the bottom of the board.

Always do it right the first time, dont cover up mistakes or your askin for trouble.

  5. Are you 100 percent sure thats a welded haul?

You will wanna dry the entire boat out in a garage and then fill it up with quite a bit of water

and look for leaks before you invest any time and money into a platform or floor.

Also, some old bench seats arent aluminum (cant see what the rear seat is).

They are mostly held up by riveted brackets on the haul. If this is the case, rip

the old plywood bench out and start fresh. If they are aluminum then unfortunatly

    they hafta stay.

If you have any questions, shoot me a PM

I have restored a few old aluminums now.

  6. Rick, lets just say some black and whites are worth damn near half of what some peoples houses are.

I dont doubt that the dogs were just running around having a blast and they probably

    didnt attack anything.

Spook a horse or a cow, they snap a leg and you can say goodbye to a 50k investment.

The man may or may not be an idiot like you guys say but we dont know the facts.

Like Rick said, blame the idiot owners.
