thanks guys, yeah the fishing was pretty tough the past weekend hopefully the coming weekend is better, need rain and non jin clear water!

Nice fish Vick!!!!
The hot temps on Sunday made for tough fishing (Atleast on the trib I was on)
Also, do you mind telling us what you used to catch it? (roe, jig, etc?)
Sure, why not. First was caught on roe bag (can't share what colour xD) and the second was on a natural colour plastic worm worm.

First little football of the day, hit just at first light.
After that it was a few jacks until another steel surprised me. This one was bigger.
Beautiful fish

I don't think that I need to be "educated" on this topic, nor am I "ignorant" or "immoral".
It's funny how anyone with an opinion different than the "self-proclaimed all-knowing" steelhead elitists are automatically labeled as being "uneducated" and "ignorant".
Nice bunch you guys are. Thanks for the education.
First you say that a rainbow will 100% never hit a marshmallow, then when someone says they caught them on the surface, then it's an "odd-ball" technique that no righteous steelheader would ever use. LOL come on, if it works, then why is it "odd-ball"? Just because they're not brainwashed into your cult-like group-think?
It's funny how you didn't respond to my point about the 1 pound rainbow. Facts are stubborn little things when they go against your argument.
I agree. cheers

If salmon are lined with marshmallows how do people hook them with Roe using the same technique? Everyone becomes an expert and offers their two cents, im not trying to start anything but as for my .02, if theres no proof of a salmon getting lined with marshmallow how can you rule out the fact they hit them or not?

High and fast, tomorrow will be better, not 100%;but better

they all look the same

I know theres some good fishermen out there, but its just hard to understand someone that would actually return an islander...would be very grateful though
-
Has anyone found a silver islander in a black islander pouch in the parking lot or anywhere on the shwa? If so please contact this number: 647 296 8987 or 647 404 8514. We got home after a day fishing and it seems as though we left it at the parking lot while packing up
Thanks

Chuck Norris once round-house kicked a salesman, over the phone

none of those pics have a fish dead in them, the first one was right before we gutted it though.

Havent made my own post yet thought i'd like to start it off with a pic from spring, a nice steelie. These shouldnt be to far away from us now, only a matter of months, maybe sooner =p

great story, was it a jig?!
-
Yep, was drifting yesterday. There are some browns in and I think I even spotted a bow. My trick? Stay away from the pools with fifteen 20 pounds class salmon and 8 guys trying to snag them. I shoot for the trout, and smaller salmon. Its called fishing, not snagging!
holla

That's come beautiful water.

bare hook would be illegal then =(
Anyone wanna hook-up?
