My daughter's friend wants to come out in the boat while we go fishing for salmon. She wants no part in fishing at all just wants to come out to hang out. I would think she needs a license if on boat even if not fishing? thanks

I just found out I have to work on Saturday. Anybody like to take my spot as observer for bluffers tightlines tournament? Pays $75 or you can go salmon fishing on a charter for free on the Friday with some of best salmon guys around. You have to attend meeting fri night at bluffs and be at bluffs sat mrng 515 am and off water by 3pm. You will learn a lot of salmon info for sure.

Staying at a friend's cottage next week on Westport Sand lake. Just wondering if it's worth bringing along motor for there aluminum boat they have there. Any idea of fish species? thanks
