  1. Do I really have to remind you what happened to the laffs in the playoffs last year?

The greatest playoff meltdown in league history!

    As in EVER!

    REMEMBER THAT?

    BWAHAHAHAHA

We took the best team in the east to game 7. You guys fell in 5 to Pittsburgh. Then your captain was so embarassed he left your whole city hanging.

  2. I use gamakatsu size 2 octopus hooks. They're kinda the same hooks as the demon circle rich mentioned. Every now and then they might get hooked deep but i find removing these hooks are pretty easy.

Everybody should learn the through-gill hook removal. If you haven't, that's probably the most important fishing skill I know.

    (if you didn't know)

    Good luck!

  3. i use uni to uni knot and I don't find it to get hung up on the eyelets. I find they are one of the strongest line to line knots but they are also a bit bigger (if you are worried about the knot hitting the eyelet. I suggest you learn 2-3 line to line knots and see what you like best.

  4. bernier played many games this shortened season due to J.quick playing very poorly. LA still played quick as much as they could but bernier got alot of games in and played well in those games. If quick haven't won that cup for them last year, bernier would've taken over in LA. Their goalie battle in LA is just as intense as it was in Toronto. They were always expecting bernier to over take quick but it just never happened.

They say reimer and bernier will have to fight for the #1 spot but imo no doubt that bernier will be the #1 in toronto's crease this fall.

*edit. loved the ending too... no better way for it to end for a leafs fan

  5. 1) seagull did a dive bomb attack on a rebel crayfish. Had to do an air fight to bring him in.... imagine that. You usually fight a fish under water. This one flies away. Happy ending though, finally brought him in and unhooked it's beak.

    2) Hooked a water snake... hard to unhook that one as well.

    3) got an old boot in frenchman's bay.

    4) hooked a bag of dog poop in frenchman's bay (they really like to throw things in there eh)

  6. I'm in the hunt for walleye but no luck. Luckily this thread still gives me some hope for this season!

What rod would you use for ripping/snapping buck tails? What's the difference between the two?

I got a eyecon that's 6'8" M, x-fast. says snap jig on the rod but is it alright for the rippin as well?
