  1. Yes for real Crud, you would be surprised how many people complain about people throwing grabage and yet they do the same. Drinking wobbly pops and throwing the beer caps on the ground. Smoking cigarettes and throwing the butts on the ground. Some folks exclude this as being garbage. Its all garbage!

The "for real?" was more directed at your questioning perfection of those exprssing concerns. And no, almost nothing would surprise me regarding attitudes and behaviors of alot of people. You are only stating the obvious. Do you throw garbage on the ground?

  2. So seriously, you guys are saying that you never threw garbage on the ground and just left it there eh? Perfect folks?

    For real?

No not perfect. But alot of responisble people at least try.

I bring a bag along when hiking/river fishing and always ty to pick up some of the trash people have left behind. Now my eight year old son does the same when he is with me.

  3. My wife kept catching these striped bass on bass lures this weekend?

    Just kidding!

The boys did all right too.

The big perch were stuffed with cray fish and were hitting rattle raps boucing off the rocks while trolling.

    Fun day!

Started off down rigging off 5-7 miles off shore in the am and hardly marked a fish. Nuttin for salmon or trout.

Switched up for the pm and cought perch, bass, drum and a pike all on a leisurely troll down the shore line. Saved the day for jr. with a good multi species day!

  4. Welcome to the board. great Guys on the site.

That's a healthy looking King. Thought they were skinny in Huron?

    peter

We grow some nice Lakers down in the banana belt too.thumbsup_anim.gif

    Both were released.

On the king, we were catching nice 5-6lbs bows (keepers) on riggers in the same water.

The salmon had a spawn hook and some line wrapped in it's gill plate, released it after some surgery.

After seeing the pic and hearing the story, a fellow angler was insisting this was a steely.blahblah1.gif

    It's all good fun.

  5. Hey folk,

Found this great site looking for info to settle a debate.

I fish all over Ontario with my wife and son, but our home area is SW Lake Huron tribs. and on the lake.

Please lend your knowledge help to ID this fish and end the debate. Only had a phone cam. 100' depth, 5 mile off shore, SW Lake Huron, July.BOW10.jpg

Thanks in advance, and hope to share some more/better pics and reports on this cool site!
