  1. Might not be so nice this Saturday on Rice Lake, or in the Otonabee. See attached.

This was at Birdsall launch. While there, for less than 10 minutes, 2 OPP cruised by. One was leaving as I arrived, and a second was coming down the road when I left.

  2. I've got a similar set up. 2016 AC Classic, 16.5 with the 50 horse Yamaha tiller. It has the Powerdrive 55 lb w/iPilot. It works great and battery life has not been an issue. What ever you do, be sure an get iPilot equipped. I've found my motor to have enough jam for the lakes I fish. It originally came with the Helix 7 and I sold it to replace it with a panoptix compatible Garmin unit. Sweet boats. I love my Alumacraft!

Check out the Akaso V50 pro, or elite models. Very good reviews, lots on youtube. Camera and all the accessories can be had right now from $138 to $190 depending on model. Save some bucks on the camera and use your savings to buy mounts for it or lures.

    My next purchase for sure.

I bought the Akaso v50 pro SE. Great little camera, good build quality and even better video and picture. Simple to use and yes, half the price of the "bigger names".  No issues with is thus far.

The mark up on the GoPro accessories is ridiculous. I needed the shorty floating stick for a trip, 10 bucks on Amazon... The GoPro version - $30 at Walmart.

  4. I work as a service advisor at an auto shop. We stock universal tire sensors. Each sensor is programmed before being installed onto the rim and sells for $55 a piece.

If you're having a hard time finding an 18" steel rim- how about downsizing? Try a 17. Can save yourself some bucks this way.

  5. I accepted an invite here on very short notice. It will be a long bit of travel to, and from but I'll get to fish it for a solid few days. I'm hoping to check out the near by Rock Lake and locate some Brookies and Lakers.

Anyone been here care to share their experience?

  6. Having a body in front of him as big as he is, blocking and deflecting shots is almost like having a second goalie on your team. K Miller, McQuade, these guys play defense, and defense wins championships. In comparison, it's not even close. The top forward units, far too inexperienced. Nylander, invisible, one dimensional.

I've been telling everyone, this team is still at least two years away from being a real contender, that is, with a little luck and if management plays it's cards right.
