Prop guards

Any body on here use a prop guard on low hp motors ie

I’ve never used one.  I guess it would be good if you had a tons of rocks and logs. 
probably hurts performance because of more drag.

If you have manual tilt on the motor they can help save damage  if you have power trim tilt it will rip your whole lower unit off rather then  just damaging the prop
