Hey guys,

Might hit the top of Sparrow this week (Maclean Bay to Morrison Landing) and I believe that stretch is all still Sparrow Lake proper, but at some point those waters become Severn River water and the Zone is shared between 15 and 16.  Not sure why the Ministry did this?! So if I sniff around further downstream (west) and now I am in the river, what regs do I observe?  I am targeting pike and walleye.  Where Sparrow ends and Severn begins is not clear.. but if it was clear, the regs say 15 and 16.

Thanks for clarification!

Fish ON-Line is your friend.

According to the interactive map, the Severn River is FMZ 16...the north shore of the river forms the boundary (black line).

Hey Crowman, that is what I was using when I noted the issue I brought up.  So the south bank is Z15? Weird if that is the case, IMO. Where the dividing line? Hard for MNR to enforce the reg, I'd think

Its pretty clear....all of the Severn River itself (all the way through to Gloucester Pool) is in FMZ16. The north shoreline of the river (as indicated by the dark back line) is the boundary with FMZ15. If you were standing on the north shore (on the black line in the middle of the map below) and made a cast south into the river....that would be FMZ16. If you turned around and made a cast north (into that small pond) that would be FMZ15.

Not sure what you're seeing otherwise  ?
