Looking to go steel heading in the Maitland.

Hey Ontario fishing community.

I am looking to go steel heading this fall and spring in the maitland. Im not entirely sure where to go, and what to use . Ive heard that under the hwy 21 bridge is pretty good but it looks too shallow, fast flowing and hard to access. now I probably want to fly fish for them either swinging or nymphing. Im basically looking for the most productive way of fishing yet I want to learn fly fishing. Ive caught some baby steelhead in wingham yet I don't know about big ones. I also don't know where to go and what to use as the season changes.
