Tjames09 Posted June 9, 2020 Report Posted June 9, 2020 (edited) Anyone else finding they are catching less walleye in the slot? I haven’t seen a small walleye in a while. Is the fishery getting depleted? I should add my fishing is tri -lakes. Edited June 9, 2020 by Tjames09
Garnet Posted June 9, 2020 Report Posted June 9, 2020 Only fished Tri lakes once this year opening Sunday. It sucked. All the lakes are behind this year, 5 weeks ago I was in winter coat. The top end of Pigeon should start firing soon.
NAW Posted June 9, 2020 Report Posted June 9, 2020 Im heading to Fenelon Falls this weekend. Was going to take the canoe and see if I could do a little fishing. You happen to know any decent spots in the area I could access with a canoe for a quick jig???
ecmilley Posted June 9, 2020 Report Posted June 9, 2020 The bigguns been on the bite till yesterday mayfly hatch slowed it down been.getting lots of 22-25inch eyes with a couple keepers little more weed growth those smaller fish will show up in better numbers
AKRISONER Posted June 9, 2020 Report Posted June 9, 2020 not me but my best buddies were catching them easy in the tri lakes. That heat wave after the snow really really screwed everything up everywhere it seems. Had the fishing tough across the province from what I can tell. Things are shaping up nicely now though and im seeing more catches.
David Chong Posted June 9, 2020 Report Posted June 9, 2020 A little later season than normal so not really surprising! Rice Lake had a little dry spell but seem to be firing all cylinders right now!
