I understand they deteriorate inside. it will leak/plug itself or your engine will start fouling up if theres a problem. porkpie Posted May 5, 2020 Report Share Posted May 5, 2020 Mine is about the same vintage. I’m thinking about replacing it shortly. I don’t run ethanol fuel but the rubber is starting to look a little bit sketchy. It can’t hurt. I’m going to get replacement line from my local marina though, not that junk from Canadian tire.
