Boat fuel line replacement

After 13 years is it necessary to replace fuel hoses and bulb from boat to motor?  I understand they deteriorate inside.

it will leak/plug itself or your engine will start fouling up if theres a problem. Ethanol is brutal on rubber so if you run ethanol gas you are more likely to have an issue.

Mine is about the same vintage.  I’m thinking about replacing it shortly.  I don’t run ethanol fuel but the rubber is starting to look a little bit sketchy.  It can’t hurt.  I’m going to get replacement line from my local marina though, not that junk from Canadian tire.
