Siderli Posted December 3, 2018 Report Posted December 3, 2018 Hi, anyone have any info about the ice on Lake Nipissing? Going to North Bay this weekend (Dec, 7) and would be great to try the first ice fishing of the season. Thanks!!!

porkpie Posted December 3, 2018 Report Posted December 3, 2018 Lake Nipissing is closed to all species from Decenber 1 to Jan 1. You could look into panfish or trout in zone 11 on another waterbody, but Nipissing is off limits for now. 1

Joeytier Posted December 6, 2018 Report Posted December 6, 2018 Plenty of people are fishing around NB on smaller lakes. Walleye is open, just not on Nipissing.
