Geese Brian here I’m thinking a smaller Toon!

Size does matter! I saw more fish this week than in Simcoe in years. These were coulerful and fast, some were eel dinner. It was about 24 inches.

got home and driveway had melted and clean! Missed the crap by a week!

I'm currently on week 2 of my extended summer vacation and have been hard on getting some cabin building done. First thing needed was a dry, shady and bug free zone to chillax in when the working was done.   Threw up this temporary shack in a weekend.   Now onto the cabin building segment. Took a lot longer than expected to layout the foundation. Drilled 1/4" holes in the granite to drop my nails into to run my string lines.   Then it was time to dri

Surface temp this morning 69. This evening 72. Fishing was tough today. Had a young loon hang out next to the boat for about 5 min. Checked me out. Swam under and checked again. No fear. Didn’t reach for phone/camera in case he spooked. Great experience.

I have come to the point that trusting these weather and wind sites means crappola these days. So I just get up,rig the toon and venture on my merry way. With that said, the wind was to be light out of the N/E. With a continuing  cold front that started yesterday. Left my son's place early Sunday morning on our ATVs with all our gear for a 15 km trip, beautiful day light wind, it had rained the night before so trails were nice for riding (not too much dust) .  This is one of countless little back lakes we like to fish, because it's kind of out of the way not many people bother with it.. We usual

    • Hello there.

Hi there, Im new here, hope to get some tips and help from all you experts. I have been bass fishing for the last 2 years, my Personal Best is about 2.5 pounds. I fish a couple local lakes close to my home, but they are pressured lakes so there a bit harder to catch. I should mention i am a bank angler and do not have access to the whole lake, there are very few places to fish from shore on my lake, but i have found one good spot where the bass seem to be pretty stacked but i am having prob
