Wood Lake (East of Bracebridge)

Hey all - first time poster here, but have been reading the forum for a while now. My wife and I are cottage hunting and the information in here is an invaluable resource, as fishing is an important factor. If not for this forum, I never would have learned about the issues with mercury levels in the Huntsville area lakes (and avoided a potential disaster, as we almost put in an offer on a Mary Lake cottage without knowing about the issue).

Anyways, I was just wondering whether anyone has recently fished Wood Lake. Bass and Walleye are my prime targets and I've read the lake contains both. Curious as to whether the fishing is good and whether any good size fish are being caught there. Any other intel or thoughts regarding the lake is also welcome. Thanks!
