jtracc Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Hey guys, anyone been out round parry island and parry sound harbour area? The smallies start to set up yet? Thx Joe
irishfield Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Did a two day Musky troll (Mon/Tue) part way up to the Moon and we didn't mark our usual congregations of such "bait'! Water is still 54.8F
jtracc Posted October 22, 2015 Author Report Posted October 22, 2015 Really eh, I can live with low 50's that will get the smallies in the right mood.
irishfield Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Water 49.9 in Midland Harbour, 53 to 55 is what is coming out of the local rivers.
floater Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 What temp are you looking for to target muskies up there? We've been going to the Moon River area now for three years and get pike bass and pickeral but so far no muskie. Thanks
AKRISONER Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 after the cold snap we saw water into the high 40's on sunday. Marked a little bait here and there but nothing crazy. Caught a few, but she was still pretty slow going. We were fishing deeper bay trap type areas close to structure. Found a couple congregated but definitely weren't marking anything on the unit. This will be my first fall really trying to hunt them out with the unit, and so far I havent seen zilch!
