Shots I take while waiting for the uncooperative kingfisher :)

I've been trying to get a good shot of the kingfisher, but he's very perceptive and no matter what side of the pond I go to, he goes to the other side. If I walk around, he goes to the other side. My camera is just out of range for a good shot of him. He knows I'm there. I've even waited for an hour hidden behind a tree and he still does to cooperate. Sigh. So, in the meantime, I find other things to shoot!

Thanks Bill. Ya, I got more mating pics, they seem to do it every time I go. I mean really, how many times does it take before she's knocked up :)

But they are just too far away for anything good.

Been watching a Killdeer at the back lot at work. Not sure if it,s male of female, but it,s been chirping like crazy. Guess it,s looking for mate. I,ll have to take the camera to work.
