BITEME Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 http://atlantic.ctvnews.ca/search-underway-for-fishermen-after-boat-capsizes-off-n-s-1.1161129 Its weird I feel like i have an ice pick through my heart right now in all likely hood I either grew up with a parent of one of these guys or a good chance Im releated to one of them every time this happens i feel very cold. It is a rough life very rewarding but very rough and the crews that work rescue in that neck of the woods are some of the best on the planet my thoughts are with the families of these men and the crews going out to rescue them. the light is on Peter
bigugli Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 Sad, but it's always been an accepted hardship for that way of life. I am thankful it does not happen often any more. My prayers go out to the families and community.
lew Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 It's a tough and extremely dangerous job, but still always very sad when things like this happen.
John Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 Bad, sad situation indeed Peter. I have relatives that worked the North Sea and although they always came home there was some pretty scary times...
