Too bad they dont come i Walleye and Musky flavors. That would be a real hoot to attach that to your line, and then go and sit on a dock somewhere full of proplerofl2.gif

Paul, you should have seen the look on the guys face 2 cottages away when I got a big bass off the dock. The best part was I had a rod rigged up with one of the giant rapala lures on it in the boat hidden so he couldn't see it. I got the fish in, held it up and yelled over to him. "Hey Randy, what do you think?" he said "nice fish, what did you catch it on" so I held up the rod rigged with the joke lure and watched his jaw hit his dock...

That is classic. It would also be fun to have one rigged up while musky fishing. When you get back to the ramp just tell people you were slaying them, and show them the rod.

That was my point to doing it. That guy thinks he knows everything there is to know about the lake and fishing...

some places still sell them. I know the Walmart in Stouffville cleared them out at $25.00 each rather then the normal $75.

    • Its fun flying at daybreak. (NF)

Hi all,   It finally stopped snowing and the wind dropped below hurricane force so I took a few pics from my drone at sunrise.   I have a lot to learn and the pics are not my best but i'm still learning to fly it safely and have not got round to messing with camera settings or got used to taking well composed shots from a completely new perspective.   This drone is awesome, gonna make some cool videos this summer for sure.

    • Flying outposts with indoor plumbing (UPDATED)

UPDATE...i found a post I made last year looking for same info. There were numerous recommendations on it (including from Mike Borger), so I think I'm good to go. Thanks to those who replied already.       Been a few years since we were looking for a fly in...alas, my son's schedule just never meshed ( US Army Special Forces). He's now out and we are looking at an August trip for just he and I. The only "must haves" are indoor plumbing. We have both "been there, done that" re: the alternativ

    • More Shark Fishing-- Hammerhead on Spinning Gear

Some footage from last week in swfl. Crazy night. We put out a mullet on the surf rod, as I was hoping to get a blacktip for my girlfriend to reel in. The rod goes off and we quickly realized we were not dealing with a blacktip. This shark was taking 150 yard runs 20 minutes into the fight against 30lbs of drag like it was nothing. We got it in after about 40 minutes. The shark was not removed from the water, the hook was cut to keep everything quick, and the shark swam off strong. Epic night, c
