    • Bronte Creek Lampricide Treatment

I heard from MNRF that Bronte Creek will be lampricided by staff from the Sea Lamprey Control Centre (Fisheries and Oceans Canada) on Sunday. I'm not sure exactly when (e.g. early or late Sunday) or where the treatment will be taking place but thought it would be of interest to those heading out this weekend.   Jon

    • any action in or around port credit of bronte? Photo added!

I haven't had a chance to get out to the places close to home so I thought I would try it out this weekend but wondering with the heat wave how things are on the credit river or bronte creek. Mainly closer to Lake O side from shore or at the port credit or bronte pier. perhaps fishing in the evening or before sunrise may be worth?     Thanks

    • Bronte Help needed

I have my brother and nephew coming down tomorrow for some fishing and the problem is I haven't been out on Lake O in a couple weeks. I was wondering if anyone who has been out over the weekend could give me a few starting depths to try.   Also is the bluezone going out of Port Credit yet? It is a long run if the fish aren't there.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Darren

    • bronte creek fishing with bronte park & Grand river fishing

Looking to do some fishing the end of this week. I live close to Bronte Park and was wondering if there any decent fishing this time of the year within the park. Trying to avoid the FREE Parks due to there being more people fishing.   I have always considered going to Grand river but being far from where I live, would it be worth going at this time of the year, specifically by the Caledonia dam.
