My motor is 12 volts I have 2 batteries hooked up in parallel so when I hook up my 2 bank charger do I need to disconnect the parallel circuit when I charge my 2 batteries. DRIFTER_016 Posted August 6, 2011 Report Share Posted August 6, 2011 You can leave them in parallel the charger is smart enough to know what is what when you hook the leads up. There will be one set of leads for each battery (my 3 bank charger has them marked 1,2 and 3 (pos and neg for each)). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
