Saw him preform at The Rock Pile at King and James Hamilton in 72'. I think the cover charge was 2 bucks. One of the first Country, Rock and Blues crossover artists.

Dave524, there is no such thing as dated Rock and Roll.

 

OI, I meant the video was not quite current and he is a bit older now but Glenn Hughes is our age and can still hit those notes . IMHO one of best voices ever in Rock. You are right " Rock and Roll Never Dies "

I have to smile when I hear my teenage nieces and nephews excitedly tell me all about The Who, Supertramp, Zeppelin, Hendrix et. all. When I show them my ticket stubs for concerts of all of the above they want them, not yet.

the shovel guy is a freaking awesome player, give him 4 strings and he plays a bass line rhythm and lead at the same time

 

edit: on a second listen I detect a loop there as well, still great though
