Dara Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 I used to know a bunch of good spots, but the roads are closed so the fishing stays good for the rich people.
BITEME Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 why you asking him he rents somebody so he can catch fish
JWeber Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Take a map of Northwestern Ontario, stick it on a dart board, throw a dart, if it hits water, that is the best place. if not throw another dart... JIM
Roy Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 The area North of Timmins around Potter is good...plenty of small productive lakes there.
perchslayer666 Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 The Mosey on Inn, lots of Walleye in there, just remember before you put one on the stringer, wear a glove for protection.
NAW Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 The Mosey on Inn, lots of Walleye in there, just remember before you put one on the stringer, wear a glove for protection. I was on Nip last weekend, and never made my way there..! Next time.
smally21 Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 i haven't heard the words mosey on inn for some time. oh the memories we made in there
Headhunter Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 To me, the best Pickereyes come from Nip... they just taste better then most places and they are readily available along most shore lines, just look for the processing plant. Lake Erie Pickereyes taste pretty darn good as well and even the bigger ones are fine table fare. They can be found at your local Loblaws. I would not suggest eating Pickereyes out of Quinte, they usually taste like compared to the above two locations...and no, you can't find them at your local supermarket. I hope this helps yah! HH
Mike01 Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 you can catch all kinds of things at the moe-zee!
Handlebarz Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Lake X... Giving you an answer would be a violation of OFC ethics. There will be no "way point" on your screen. Sorry , mintaka905 Randy Randy dont tell just go out there and take a pic with that camera phone you have. Oh wait I dont think you have cell service up there eh!! Well that is what I tell the wife when I head up there fishing.
camillj Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 Lake Ontario, Lake Eerie, Georgian Bay and The Kawarthas - followed closely by 8,000,000 lakes north of Barrie But it all depends on what (size/age) you are after and what time of year My PB came from a lake in the Calabogie district ....
spincast Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 According to google maps, this one should have some Walleye Lake
