fishcrisp
Took a hike in the rouge today and came across a deer that was lying down on some reeds across the river and was bleeding from its mouth or chest. The river is not frozen over so i could not get any closer to the deer to see exactly what was wrong with him.The deer was alert but for the hour i was watchin him he never got up once.. krawler
Found a dead deer at the old mill a few weeks back, next day all that was left were bones, coyotes tore it apart overnight. not sure how it died, called animal services they came and took away the remaining pieces. highdrifter
Had a couple zoo workers come down and check to see what I was doing once.. Seems someone had been in the valley snaring deer. Wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if someone took a shot at that doe.. I'd say keep your eyes and ears peeled!!
