Steelhead spots ?

Recommended Posts

Steelie spots are like specky spots and guys get lockjaw when asked that question, check the regs for additional steelhead opportunities and open all year areas which will give you areas to start searching good luck

The regs will show the areas of each river which is open year round.

It's usually from the Lake up about 5 miles.

ie: at the Credit it is up to Burnanthorpe Bridge.

The Credit River is open to the south side of HWY 403 year round. Please read the regs carefully.

There are forums that will cater to your question. They maybe tight lipped, but im sure you can figure out what sort of area they were fishing.

Pretty much! ...but, there are always a few holes to hit, and I can certainly appreciate anyone who has the gumption to get out there and go for steelies in the Tribs.

In the past few weeks the Credits been a DUD!

* a few guys have "said" they caught fish, but i dont find it coincidental that there are no pics.

Never say never, but the credits not producing anything recently.

Unfortunately!

ps: Watch, someone's going to tell me about their set-up, how to drift properly, how "Steelies" can be so finicky and you need to get it just right..... and then of course proceed to show no pics or evidence of their "Superior Fishing Skills"

LOL the fish just aint there right now (Erindale) and lots and lots of ice

Or maybe people don't take pictures of every fish they catch? :P

If you are somewhat local there's no excuse for not driving down there and seeing for yourself.

That may be true, yet when you're an hour and a half away, with 2 kids at home... Sometimes it's nice to know if the river's frozen over...
